Brigitte merges her love of music and teaching by maintaining an active private lesson studio in Dallas since 2013. She teaches voice, guitar, and piano lessons. Her teaching style stems from the “whole child” approach in which the social and emotional side of learning become valuable tools in a well rounded music education. Brigitte’s lessons are rooted in the “Love & Logic” philosophy in which students are given choices over their learning ultimately helping in behavior, motivation, and relationship building. She utilizes visual and extension activities including songwriting, age appropriate projects, and musical games to keep lessons fun and hands-on. Her goal is to help students understand the essential connection between their instrument and music theory, while creating an environment that is safe, nurturing, and student centered.

Sarah Hunt, Instructor

Voice, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele

Sarah Hunt was born and raised in McAllen, Texas. Growing up, she became involved in her church’s choir and worship team, where her passion for music and worship ministry began. A large part of her family is musical, so she learned a lot about music from them growingup. In high school, she entered the Fine Arts competition and received the first-place Award of Merit for Sr. Female Vocal of South Texas. Her love for the arts grew from there and she quickly realized that music was something she really wanted to pursue!

She graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas, where she completed her Bachelor’s in Music degree. During her time at SAGU, she was a part of Chapel Worship, Chorale, SAGU songwriting, SNATS, and more. She is so grateful for her music professors because they taught her so much on her musical journey. It was during her time in the classroom and in lessons that she developed a desire to teach and sponsor moments with her own students. She has been teaching for several years now and has loved every minute of it! She is so excited to help students on their own musical journeys and help them reach their own musical goals! Her goals for the future include writing her own music and continuing to grow in worship ministry and teaching! When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and participating in worship and homeless ministry.
